![]() ![]() Anyone have a Godzilla Pro at home to compare with Deadpool Pro? I've only been able to play the Pro model a few times, so it's hard to tell. The thing that worries me about Godzilla is how stripped down it is compared to the Premium/LE. From what I have played, Stranger Things and Godzilla would be my two most likely choices. ![]() The Pro models I left off the list, I've played enough of to know that I'm not interested in them. With that in mind, how would you rank the following Stern Pro models: I know opinions are subjective, but hearing other people's opinions was helpful in me settling on Deadpool Pro as my first machine, and it was a good choice. For example, looking at Pinside's top 100, is Godzilla Pro really #1 alongside the Premium/LE's? Getting back into the hobby, I was surprised at how different some pro models play compared with Premium/LE's. Also, for some reason most of the arcades around me have either premium or LE versions of Stern games. I play games on location whenever I can, but I've learned that it's hard to tell if you are going to like a game for the long haul unless you play it at home. I've considered eventually trading my Deadpool Pro (not yet though) to have fun with another game. I don't have space for another machine, and I can only really afford pro model games. However, I feel like eventually I will want something new. Some cases used pros go for significantly less money than a premium.I own a Deadpool Pro, my first real pinball machine, and I've had it for a year now. You can basically have 4 pros or 3 premiums. It's always where the premium, for the most part, is better. The prices are very expensive, of course. Premium has cooler bells and whistles, I nod to the premium, but a pro plays just as good. You can barely trip the opto on trex multiball, but other modes require a solid shot that can reject too. The T-Rex head is really cool too but the animation eats ball save time in trex multiball and I've had the moving head reject shots that would otherwise go up the ramp. PRO IMO plays exactly as good as the premium. You actually get easier locks on the pro since you just bump pass over the flippers and get three locks in a row. ![]() Telekinetic lock is finicky (I just disable mine instead of constantly adjusting it). The projector is nice, but not game breaking if it's not there. The center spinner is nice, but does block shots when it's up. The pro plays just as good as the premium IMO. The collapsing bridge isn't really worth anything IMO. The Mecha Godzilla target is nice, but you get the spinner disabled during eberah if you spin it to the targets. I don't see how you could argue against going premium with GodzillaĪ moving building with physical locks is nice, it's cool how locks enabled changes the path, but not game breaking.
